Quote of the Day

"Always borrow money from a pessimist.  He won't expect it back."

--Oscar Wilde

Today's Assignment

Yesterday, you should have completed your bibliography for your personal research paper.

Before you submit the bibliography, scroll down to a new page, put the heading Bibliography, and put the sources in alphabetical order based on the first letter of the first word in the citation.

Use the submission form to turn in the Bibliography.

Create a new document and name it Personal Research Essay.  Place the same title as the heading.

Today, you are going to compose the introductory paragraph of your research paper.  The introductory paragraph is where you will tell your personal story related to your topic.

The last sentence of your introductory paragraph needs to be the thesis statement.  A thesis statement tells the reader what the rest of the paper will be about.  Use your research questions to help you generate a thesis statement.
